Privacy Policy

Your data stays on your device

Everything the app saves — your settings (language, theme, text size, city, reciter), your reading position, and your counters (salawat, completed Fridays, Sunnah checklist) — is stored locally on your device only. It is never sent to any server, and it is permanently removed when you delete the app.

Recitation audio

When you choose to download a recitation, the app connects directly to everyayah.com to fetch the audio files. As with any internet connection, that server sees your device's IP address and standard request metadata. The app sends no information about you, and it makes no other internet connection of any kind — it is fully offline otherwise.

Reminders

Friday reminders are scheduled locally on your device through iOS's notification system. They pass through no server and can be turned off at any time in Settings.

Prayer times

Maghrib and Asr times are computed locally on your device from a city you pick from a fixed list. The app never uses location services (GPS).

Children

The app does not collect data from any user of any age.

Third-party services

The app contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. The only external connection is the user-initiated recitation download described above.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change with it. Since the app collects nothing, we do not expect material changes.
