1. Who We Are
Gulf Garage is an automotive parts marketplace for Qatar and the Gulf region. Garage owners can create accounts, list parts, and manage subscriptions. Customers can browse parts and contact garages without creating an account.

2. Information We Collect
Garage owner account information
- Phone number used for Firebase phone authentication and account verification.
- Garage profile details, such as garage name, country, city, area, and generated garage serial number.
- Subscription status, tier, billing period, expiry dates, and Apple transaction identifiers needed to manage access and plan limits.
Part listing information
- Part names, descriptions, prices, conditions, categories, vehicle compatibility, and listing status.
- Images uploaded by garage owners for part listings.
- Listing statistics, including part views and customer contact actions.
Customer and app usage information
- Customers can browse without creating an account. We do not require customer names, phone numbers, or email addresses for browsing.
- The app records part view and contact events to show garage owners basic listing analytics.
- Firebase and Google SDKs may process device, app, diagnostics, and usage data needed for analytics, security, fraud prevention, ads, and service operation.
Advertising information
- Gulf Garage uses Google AdMob to show ads to free-tier garage owners and anonymous/customer browsing sessions.
- Google AdMob may process information such as device identifiers, IP address, approximate location derived from IP address, ad interactions, and app activity according to Google policies and user settings.
- Paid garage owner tiers are intended to provide an ad-free garage owner experience inside the app.
Payment information
- Subscriptions are purchased through Apple. Gulf Garage does not receive or store credit card numbers.
- We receive subscription status and transaction identifiers from Apple or StoreKit so the app can unlock paid features, apply 30-day introductory trials where eligible, and enforce part listing limits.
3. How We Use Information
- Authenticate garage owners and protect accounts.
- Create, display, search, and manage garage profiles and part listings.
- Allow customers to contact garages by phone or WhatsApp.
- Calculate listing limits and subscription access.
- Show basic listing analytics to garage owners.
- Operate ads for free and customer browsing experiences.
- Improve reliability, security, and app performance.
- Detect abuse, enforce rules, and comply with legal obligations.
4. Public Marketplace Information
Gulf Garage is a marketplace. Garage profile information and active part listings are visible to app users. This may include garage name, location at the country/city/area level, contact phone number, garage serial number, part details, and part images.
5. Third Parties and Service Providers
We share information with service providers only as needed to operate the app, process subscriptions, show ads, protect the service, or comply with law.
- Google Firebase and Google Cloud: authentication, Firestore database, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Firebase Analytics, and Firebase App Check.
- Google AdMob: mobile advertising and ad measurement.
- Apple: App Store subscriptions, introductory trials, purchase validation, refunds, renewals, and subscription management.
We do not sell personal information to data brokers.
6. Storage, Security, and Transfers
- Firestore data is hosted in Google Cloud's asia-south1 region.
- Cloud Functions run in us-central1.
- Part images are stored in Firebase Cloud Storage.
- Data is protected by Firebase security rules, App Check, encrypted network transport, and role-based access in the app.
Because we use Apple, Google Firebase, Google Cloud, and Google AdMob, information may be processed in countries outside your country of residence. These providers apply their own security and compliance controls to the services they operate.
7. Retention and Deletion
We keep account, listing, image, subscription, and analytics information for as long as needed to operate Gulf Garage, provide the service, prevent abuse, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations.
Garage owners can delete their account in the app from Profile. Account deletion is designed to remove part images, part listings, subscription event records, user metadata, the garage document, and the Firebase Auth account. Some security, backup, or provider logs may remain for a limited time where required for service integrity or legal compliance.

8. Your Choices
- You can edit garage and listing details in the app.
- You can delete individual part listings or delete your full account from Profile.
- You can manage Apple subscriptions through your Apple ID subscription settings.
- You can manage device-level analytics, privacy, and advertising choices in iOS Settings.

9. Children's Privacy
Gulf Garage is intended for automotive businesses and adult users. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when the app, legal requirements, or service providers change. The latest version will always be published on this page with an updated date.
