Miqyas ("the app") is a unit converter and measuring-tools app for iOS, developed and published by Hamam Alabdulla ("we"). This policy describes what information the app does — and deliberately does not — handle.
Miqyas collects no personal data. None. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. Everything you do in the app stays on your device.
Your favorites, conversion history, custom units, settings (language, numerals, theme), and ruler calibration are stored only in the app's local storage on your device (and its shared container used by the app's widgets). We have no access to any of it. Deleting the app deletes this data.
The only network requests Miqyas ever makes are to fetch currency exchange rates from two public providers:
These requests contain no personal identifiers — no account, no advertising ID, no location. As with any internet request, the providers' servers technically receive your IP address as part of standard connection handling; we send nothing else, and we operate no servers of our own.
Some measuring tools ask for permissions. Each is used strictly on-device, in the moment, for the tool you opened — nothing is recorded, stored, or transmitted:
The Miqyas Pro one-time purchase is processed entirely by Apple through your Apple Account. We never see your payment details. See Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchase data.
The app collects no data from anyone, including children.
If the app's behavior ever changes in a way that affects privacy, this policy will be updated here before that version ships, with a new effective date.
