PointCam (“صورها”) is built to collect as little as possible. There is no account, and your sticker collection stays on your device. This policy explains exactly what happens to your data.
PointCam uses anonymous authentication. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, or precise location. You never create an account.
When you snap an object, the photo is sent — only to identify what it is — to our AI processing providers, Anthropic and OpenAI. The image is processed transiently to return the word and is not stored on our servers. We keep no image storage. The full-resolution sticker you collect is saved only on your device.
Word cards can be read aloud. The standard voice is generated on your device by Apple's built-in text-to-speech and sends nothing to our servers. PointCam Plus subscribers get a premium natural voice: only the word text (no personal data) is sent to our speech provider, ElevenLabs, to generate the audio, which we cache so the same words aren't re-generated. The app does not record your voice or use the microphone.
PointCam offers one-time consumable credit packs and an optional auto-renewable subscription (PointCam Plus), both handled by Apple. We store a record of validated purchases (transaction id, product id, credits granted or subscription status, and timestamps) to credit your balance or unlock Plus and to prevent duplicate credits. We never store your payment-card data — Apple handles all payment.
Your sticker collection, credit balance reference, and settings live on your device. If you delete the app, this on-device data is removed. Consumable credits are not restorable; an active PointCam Plus subscription can be restored via Apple. Data does not transfer between devices in this version.
This version of PointCam does not collect analytics or usage data, and contains no advertising identifiers and no cross-app tracking.
We retain only the minimal server records described above (credit balance and purchase audit), keyed to your anonymous identifier. Deleting the app removes your on-device data. To request deletion of server-side records, contact us at the address below.
PointCam is rated 4+ and is not directed at children under the minimum age set by the App Store in your region. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We follow a data-minimization posture: no personal identifiers, no tracking, no sale of data. Where applicable law grants you rights of access or deletion, contact us and we will honor them for the minimal records we hold.
