Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

By using the MicOne (نبرة) app (the "App"), developed and operated by GCC Apps ("we", "us"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

The App provides voice recording, AI transcription, AI summarization, and sharing. Transcription and summarization are processed by cloud providers (currently OpenAI for transcription; Anthropic and OpenAI for summarization) as described in our Privacy Policy.

3. Free Plan and Paid Subscription

• Free trial: 2 free transcription minutes, once per user; they do not renew or roll over.
• MicOne Pro: a paid subscription (monthly or yearly) with 1,200 transcription minutes per month, subject to fair use; the monthly allowance renews automatically.
• All payments are handled by the App Store and subject to Apple's terms. Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may change with prior notice.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You may cancel anytime in your Apple account settings (two taps); the subscription remains active until the end of the paid period. Partial-period refunds follow Apple's policy.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Record anyone without their consent where the law requires it — complying with recording-consent laws in your country is your responsibility.
• Abuse the service, attempt to bypass free-plan limits, or reverse-engineer the App or its servers.
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of others' rights.

5. Your Content

Your recordings and transcripts are entirely yours. We claim no rights over them; they are processed only to deliver the service you request.

6. Accuracy Limits

AI transcription and summarization may contain errors. The App is an assistive tool, not a substitute for human review, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of generated transcripts or summaries. Review important content before relying on it.

7. Availability and Changes

The service may change or be temporarily unavailable for maintenance or technical reasons (including AI provider outages). We will try to notify you of material changes, and we may update these Terms from time to time; the current version is always posted here.

8. Limitation of Liability

The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the App, and our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar, and any disputes shall be resolved accordingly.
