This Privacy Policy explains how Anam (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use the Anam iOS app for farm and livestock management.

If you do not agree with this policy, please do not use the App.

1. Who we are

Anam is an iOS app for managing farms, livestock inventory, animal profiles, health records, movement records, weight records, and production records.

2. Information you enter in the App

Anam lets you create and manage farm and animal records. This may include:

  • Farm names, locations, and notes
  • Animal tags, names, species, breed, sex, age, and status
  • Health events, vaccines, treatments, and due dates
  • Movement records such as purchases, sales, transfers, births, and deaths
  • Weight and production records
  • Optional animal photos selected by you

3. Local storage

The current version of Anam stores app data locally on your device using Apple platform storage.

We do not currently operate a server for Anam app data. We do not receive, view, sell, or share the farm and livestock records you create inside the App.

If you delete the App from your device, locally stored app data may also be deleted unless your device or Apple account restores it through Apple system backup features.

4. Photos and device permissions

If you choose to add an animal photo, the App may ask for access to selected photos through Apple’s photo picker. The App uses the selected image only to display it in the animal profile.

Anam does not access your full photo library unless you grant permission through iOS.

5. Analytics, ads, and tracking

The current version of Anam may show ads through Google AdMob. Google Mobile Ads may process device, app, advertising, and usage signals to load, measure, and protect ads.

Anam does not send your farm or livestock records to Google AdMob. We do not currently use third-party analytics for farm records.

We do not sell personal data. If personalized advertising, App Tracking Transparency prompts, or consent flows are added in a future version, this policy and the App Store privacy details will be updated.

6. Third-party services

The current version of Anam does not send your farm or livestock records to third-party backend services.

The App is distributed through Apple platforms, so Apple’s privacy policy and App Store terms may apply to app download, purchase, crash diagnostics, and device-level services managed by Apple.

The App uses Google AdMob to provide advertising. Google may receive information needed to request, serve, measure, and secure ads.

7. Data security

Because Anam data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for securing your device with a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and appropriate Apple ID security settings.

No method of storage is perfectly secure. If future versions add cloud sync, accounts, analytics, or backend services, this Privacy Policy will be updated before or when those features are released.

8. Children’s privacy

Anam is intended for farm and livestock management and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

9. Your choices

You can control your Anam data by:

  • Editing or deleting records inside the App
  • Removing optional animal photos from records
  • Deleting the App from your device
  • Managing app permissions in iOS Settings

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy as Anam changes. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes may also be communicated in the App or App Store listing.
