Anaam Privacy Policy — English
Privacy Policy for Anaam
Effective date: July 18, 2026
Last updated: July 19, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how the developer of Anaam (the “App,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information when you use the Anaam iOS app. If you do not agree with this policy, do not use the App.
1. Scope and core privacy approach
Anaam helps users manage farms, livestock, animal profiles, breeding, health, movement, weight, and production records. The App does not require an account, and we do not operate a server that receives or stores your farm and livestock records. Those records remain on your device unless you choose to export or share them.
2. Information stored on your device
Information you choose to enter may include farm details, animal profiles and photos, and breeding, health, movement, weight, and production records. This information is stored locally using Apple platform storage. We do not receive, view, sell, or use these livestock records for advertising or analytics.
3. Photos, imports, and exports
When you select an animal photo, Apple’s photo picker gives the App access only to the item you choose. The selected image is stored with the local animal record.
Imported CSV data is processed on your device. Exported files are saved or shared only where you direct them. After export, the destination app, storage provider, or recipient controls that copy, so protect exported files appropriately.
4. Advertising and analytics
Version 1.1 and later contain no advertising or analytics SDK, display no ads, and do not use Google AdMob or Google’s User Messaging Platform.
Older versions may have included Google AdMob and its consent platform. Users of an older version should update to version 1.1 or later to use the ad-free release. Any processing performed by Google while an older version was in use was governed by Google’s policies and the consent choices available in that version.
5. In-app purchases
Anam Pro is offered as an in-app purchase through Apple’s App Store and StoreKit. Apple processes payment and account information. The App receives product and entitlement status needed to unlock Pro limits; we do not receive your full payment-card details. See Apple’s Privacy Policy.
6. Support communications
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you include. We use it to respond, investigate issues, maintain appropriate support records, and meet legal obligations. Do not include sensitive farm, animal, or personal information unless it is necessary for your request.
7. Sharing and sale
We do not sell personal information or share your locally stored livestock records with third parties. Apple processes purchases and App Store services under its own privacy policy.
8. Retention, deletion, and your choices
Local records remain until you edit or delete them in the App, use Delete All Local Data, or delete the App. Copies in device backups or exported files may remain until you delete them from those locations.
Because we do not hold your farm and livestock database on a server, we cannot remotely access or delete it. Support emails are retained only as long as reasonably needed for support, security, recordkeeping, or legal obligations. You may request deletion of eligible support correspondence by contacting us.
9. Security
Use a device passcode, Face ID or Touch ID, current iOS updates, and appropriate Apple Account security. No storage or transmission method is completely secure. Take care when exporting or sharing records.
10. Children’s privacy
Anaam is a farm-management tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect children’s personal information through an app account or backend because the App provides neither. If you believe a child sent personal information through support email, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the App, third-party services, or legal requirements change. We will update the date above and may provide additional notice for material changes.
